What happened over there they had a car fire at the hess station on Route 25A, then minutes later aVehicle/ped at the same intersection, called PJVAC cancelled them called Coram ALS and SCPD Chopper, canceled the chopper. Anyone know?

Victim was struck by an apparant hit-and-run driver while he was trying to run across 25A to get back to his vehicle that was on fire in the parking lot across the street. Aviation was called but cancelled and patient was taken by ground in Coram's ALS ambulance to Stony Brook with serious injuries. We were initially activated for the vehicle fire and the chiefs were notified of the V-Ped while enroute.
