I love the way Suozzi called the State Dems "hacks" and said how it was a closed process. Guess Tom and Jay had been asleep the nights they presided over the Nassau County Dem Conventions, when every moment from the minute you walked into the Marriot till the time you stepped out to puke at the end was scripted by them.

Well that says it all.
First, if I can't get people to pay attention I'll scream louder, support all of Pataki’s vetos, and stamp my feet harder infront of Spitzers office.
Second, I will stage a cheap political stunt at my opponent’s office so he will be forced to debate me. Almost like Rick Lazio shoving a paper in front of Hillary Clinton in the middle of a debate.
Third, I will have a double standard. I will run my conventions as closed and scripted love fests, and criticize my party for playing by the same rules I use.
Fourth, I will run a fix Albany campaign for 3 years, gain no traction because it is void of any ideas ( other than vote for candidates I support) and wonder why people have no idea who I am.
Fifth, I will run on my good looks, make a first TV spot that has no message, and hire a camera man who jerks around the camera like he’s having a grand mal seizure. And still wonder why nobody knows who he is.
Sixth, I am so busy trying to generate coverage, I forgot to study before I make idiotic comments. I am so desperate I will support Pataki's vetoes of healthcare funding, property tax rebates, school aid and tax credits for working people, because I (the great I am) need to teach the legislature a lesson.
Nassau Comptroller Howard Weitzman said the vetoes Pataki issued two weeks ago could be "disastrous" for the hospital agency, whose debt is backed by the county. Shelley Lotenberg, a hospital spokeswoman, said, "The potential impact of the governor's cuts will be very serious and far-reaching."
But County Executive Thomas Suozzi, who is running for governor, addressed the issue through that prism on Tuesday when asked which vetoes he might restore. He said he supported all the vetoes, as a way to force state lawmakers to cut spending and reform Medicaid.
"I would reject everything I possibly could until there was some semblance of reasonableness by the legislature," Suozzi said.
Who cares that I am hurting millions of our neighbors. Will drive hospitals ito bankruptcy (increasing medicaid costs) by supporting vetos’.
This guy is a reformer? Not playing politics with our futures? Or just so desperate and ignorant he will say any thing to get a headline.

Desperate and ignorant? That pretty much sums him up. I would agree.
Suozzi supports gas tax windfall for New York State, Spitzer supports cap of tax at the first $2.00 of the price of a gallon of gas.

from UTICA OD.COM........
.....'Meanwhile, Spitzer said Friday that he supports a plan being pushed by state Assembly Republicans to cap the amount of sales tax it charges on gasoline.
"The state should not be the beneficiary of the spike in prices," Spitzer said.
As prices passed $3 a gallon in most parts of the state, Assembly Republicans and others have been urging that the state sales tax charges on gasoline, 4 percent, be capped at the first $2-a-gallon price. Local sales taxes account for another 4 percent.
If bother portions of the sales tax were capped, the change would save motorists about 10 cents a gallon at current prices, advocates estimate.
But Assembly Democrats defeated the move earlier his month, and Gov. George Pataki has said it's too late to change the state budget to include the reduction.
Suozzi said he opposes the idea because of what he sees as the state's precarious financial situation. '

I am scared of Suozzi also and I work for him.
Electing Suozzi is like giving a 4 year old an UZI.

The man fed your family for four years, and you call him a "kid [who] has no idea what he is doing." Suozzi is ultimately a failure because he hired or retain folks like you.
