many depts now excercise complete unchecked retribution on members as they see fit, many times based on rumors and loosly compliant with bylaws that may exist. it is becoming an epidemic and more and more vollies are suing depts for rights violations. its time to organize for the same reasons workers did in the first part of the 20th century. enough is enough. the answer may be to unionize the vollies and ensure that the constitution is not "checked at the door" of the local FD.

something has to be done, the chiefs and officers have way too much power over our lives, we are volunteers right. i have less trouble in my actual work than at a volunteer FD, i feel like its constant persecution from these bastards, who never managed a single person before getting elected to a spot in the local FD. pricks all!

Ask the guy bay shore threw out, but kept the nozzleman for the drill team..got a lawyer and lost, cuz he wasnt a minority..4 mos short of 20 yrs they tossed him. what a fu<kshop.
