Is anyone at all concerned that the new stats they will have us tracking is being run by IA? Is anyone from the PBA aware? Do they care?

By the way just wait until gas is close to 4.00 a gallon, last gas crunch they authorized us not to patrol, to save money we were advised to stay at our relief points, and if possible not have the car running.
I currently make sure to use at least 30.00$ worth of taxpayers gas a day driving around.

Oh geez, criticize me for replying but I am gonna stick up for the police....esp since I am married to one!!! People just need to stop worrying about why there is a patrol car sitting in a particular parking lot...you may think it is for no reason but I know for a fact that most of the time they are sitting there catching up on reports, heres and actual for instance.... some perp deciding that they want to trash peoples cars in an apartment complex, after the cops come they go back and cause more damage........before any of you go dirtying the PD's doorsteps....clean up your own, im sick of all the bitching!!!!

THIS POSTER OFFERED A VERY GOOD EXPLANATION FOR PD CARS TO BE AT FD HOUSES. They are unmanned cars at relief points. Why couldn't someone say that before? I am not a SCPD cop. I can understand that one without a problem.

I personally have explained this several times, even telling a fav story of how a civilian filed a complaint against a car, not knowing who was operating it after calling on it, sitting all night for a week, he even sat outside the fd across the street, and videotaped it several hours, after he called the pct and it was still there. He filed a complaint at the pct, who forwarded it to iab, the guy spent a total of like 35 hours between ''monitoring'' the car and interviews, when iab called to find out who was scheduled for the tour, the desk sgt told them the car shutdown for midnites. The guy filed a complaint against me for not telling him. My rationale was that anyone calling about a car that shuts down, might have a hidden motive,example finding out the schedule of the cars and when there is the least coverage.

Most cars turn out from a firehouse...not a pct...that is their post. They also use it to call in jobs and do paperwork.
