GOP boys seething at Mondello

You name them...Skelos, Cairo, Santino, are seething at Mondello's pick of Murray....The N. Valley Stream crew wanted Alfano. Santino was tired of picking up Mondello's dry cleaning and wanted it. "Joe, where's my bag full of money Cairo" didn't want Murray....they're pissed!!!!!!

It's rapidly becoming clear that Kate Murray is getting little internal support from the upper echelon of the town's bureacracy. She called a meeting of Dept. heads for Monday (yesterday) and a few sent word that they could not make it due to previous comittments - Sammon, Famigletti - (Cairo Boys). Note that these folks are Executive Leaders or Vice-Chairs and you can see that Mondello's choice is already encountering internal resistence.

Mark my words, this debacle will come to be known as "MONDELLO'S MURRAY MISTAKE"

I find it hard to believe that Department Heads would thumb their nose at Ms. Murray, with this being an internet world and all and the office gossip gets posted on the web. Kate Murray is a worthwhile candidate. As the first female Hempstead Town Supervisor, her ascendancy is historic. Kate Murray needs the support of every Hempstead Town Employee. Otherwise, they'll wind up just like the GOPers in the County.

I would hope that the Hempstead Township GOP would try to band together, since the Democrats will be merciless, unforgiving, and unstoppable if they gained a major foothold in Hempstead Town Hall. Hopefully, folks will realize that personal loyalty is the only reason why quite a few them aren't public assistance beneficiaries. Then again, may be the Chairman should think twice before taking care of the families of a bunch of ingrates.

February 4th was an evening Town Board meeting with all in attendance. There was no Dept meeting during the day with anyone not attending. There is unanimous support for Kate as the new Supervisor, despite any hopes by other contenders because we support our Party!

I don't think unanimous is the the right word to use.

Compelled aquiesence, appointed attention, No other choice but to nod in agreement.

These words tend to describe Kates first days.

But unanimous agreement suggests someone was asked to agree, which is of course not what happened.
