2 of those perps had the same job. One is back in service without the margarita-like nostrils (still complaining but that's expected from her type). One did her bid upstate and is now in retail or something, and the other one is nowhere to be found.

The worst criminal ever in the Sheriff's Office was the C/O who was handcuffing male inmates to bars then raping them. That is worse then all the druggie C/Os and we have had many of them.

Your facts are wrong! You can rape someone who is willing - if they are too young to consent, not capable of consent by mental defect, or if they are INCARCERATED. So I guess it was rape, not to mention that when he blew him it was actually considered SODOMY !
So whether or not the inmate was cuffed, whether or not the inmate "wanted it", it was absolutely still rape and sodomy.

I can't tell you why that is, but I can really see how difficult it must be to be a minority officer and work with the population we have in the jail.

What your saying is true from what Ive seen. blacks don't make good officers. they do however make very good perps. sometimes people should just stick to what they're good at. anyway, i work at rikers and I can tell you that probably 99% of our problem officers are black. my uncle is NYPD and he says the same thing and he's been there almost 30 years now. its sad but totally true.

Thats a pretty asinine statement to make. Doesn't matter what nationality, color, or creed. There's enough bad in all groups that taint the rest. Perhaps better screening of recruits should be implimented (even though some will still fall through the cracks). And also, the "manditory" hiring of minorities to meet some quota should be discarded. It's not fair to them or to non-minorities.

No law enforcement agency is exempt from a bad apple or two, The NYPD, NCPD, SCPD, SCSO, .....and so on all have had the unfortunate experience of having one of their own turn to the dark side. The bright side (if you can call any of it that) is that they get weeded out and pay their dept to society in a worse way than the average citizen would in the same situation.

Again, i'm gonna state this so the average "Joe" who reads these shitty forums will know. I've never had a problem with any person in a different division or department. All who i've came in contact with have been professional and courteous.
