Anyone can say they are kind-hearted or otherwise feel sorry for someone, but true kindness requires action and courage. Real kindness requires that we get involved. Which brings me to the State of the Union speech and the political aftermath.

In regard to the issues of the Economy and Iraq. I'm tired of all the obstructionist tactics from some so-called compassionate liberal democrats. It is hypocrisy most foul. Of course, I am speaking of the Hypocritcal Extreme Left Democrats (HELD) that seem to have hijacked the Democratic Party. You know the same people who shout down all opposition with name calling as you recently discussed on your show.

At home, we blue collar people are hurting. We need to cut taxes now so we can get the economy going. Wealthy people, like my boss, create jobs. We need money in our pockets and jobs created by small business. We want HELDs to stop blocking economic growth with class warfare and racial retoric. Don't HELDs care about working people anymore?

In Iraq, our fellow humans need our help and we should not let cowardice and politics get in the way. HELDs say they feel sorry for the Iraqi people and that Saddam is evil. Yet, HELDs delay and obstruct for self-serving reasons. If they are not going to help, then the Democrats should get out of the way. Lets get on with the war and save the the people of Iraq and the world from Saddam and company.

It is time the HELDs stopped bragging about how compassionate they think they are and actually take action to help those in need. Mainstream Dems are being held hostage. Shame on you Ted Kennedy and Tom Daschele for trying to delay the help needed here and in Iraq. Hats off to Senator Biden and my own senator, Evan Bayh for standing up and supporting President Bush despite the HELD pressure.

I'm not sure why Reupublicans have ANY complaints about the democratic party at this point. For the record, I consider myself niether democrat, nor republican, and it seems to me that the Republican ideology rules the day.

If the "Democrats are ruining our country" as I've heard many a Republican exclaim, then they should be happy at the state of things now. 2 of the 3 branches of government are dmoniated by the Republican party, and the third is close behind. So since the "NOW" situation is pretty much in Republican hands, there's no reason to be threatened by Democrats or any of "anti-Americans". It's time to focus on the here and now, and see what good can be done. That's my firm belief, and we can all (Republican, Democrat, Misc.) observe the affect.
