I believe Angie is a moderate at best.She has done some nice things being involved with the public safety committee and the college, but lets not get crazy. Angie was also in lock step with both GAFFNEY and TONNA.( neither one proved to be very conservative).Gaffney destoyed the county financially and Tonna was a liberal at best.(voting for hiring halls,selling out Republicans for Democrats,pushing for same sex benefits) I don't believe any of those qualities makes you a CONSERVATIVE. : Now Mcgowan has cut property taxes the last 10 years or so, brought industry to Islip, affordable housing,and has an unbelievable approval rating ,which means the people believe in him. Angie would get crushed by Mcgowan. She would be running solo. Don't say I didn't tell you so.

I never said I was conservative or that I think Angie is conservative. Just making a point that she is extremely popular, friendly with municipal unions and a hard worker. She is not liked by McGowan because she does not take his orders. There are a lot of contrasts and it would make for an interesting race. For the record I don't care for Tonna or Gaffney and do not always agree with Angie on the issues. I just happen to respect people who tell you they will or will not do something and do not flop when pressured. It sounds like your just a McGowan lackey who has been promised things and no one quite ever comes through for you. Keep kissing butt it will get you there.

Angie Carpenter is a very nice lady, but when it comes to her job as a Legislator she is nothing short of being Tonna's lap dog!!! Go there and watch....Everything that Tonna does, she does, everything that Tonna says, she says... He might as well put up a green or red light in front of her so that he doesn't have to wink and nod and pull her strings when she votes.... Everyone is welcome to disagree with me, and I respect that, but go and look for yourselves!!!!!!!!!
