I don't think it has anything to do with his pay increase, he got it, but he also got alot of people questioning it. Gongas was only one vote, the rest of the board agreed to it. The community couldn't stop it. By the way, a little birdie reported that the wives club consisted of mecionis, davi, hinrichs and a few of their cronies. So I think you better check your sources and stop posting b*ll s*it.

I am Certainly not bashimg Shelley. I think she is a very classy lady and a very smart lady. When she was the principle at Clintin she was terrific. I also think she is doing a great job at the District office. He hands are tied as long as Brande-no balls- is in charge.

Yes I agree totally with you. There are always 2 sides to every story, but when you keep hearing the same ones over and over again, one would tend to think they were true.

Why would anyone want to run for the school board? I think the ones we have now are doing a good job under the cirumstances. Their hands are tied. It was and is up to the ADMINISTRATION to solve the problems of THEIR employees.

The administration hired "him" - when he should not have been hired, and he has been walking all over them since. He thought he had priviledges, the golden child.

You are so right and that is NOT because you take the position of so many of us. When you state your argument you argue FACTS not personal feelings. I agree most of the time there are two sides to every story and then the truth is somewhere in the middle. In this case though we have Dr. Brande who has been heard saying that there have been others but no one has come forward and he cannot act on rumor alone. A guilty man has a right to face his accuser. No accuser no case. I do not think that ANY woman would subject herself to public scrutiny , intimidation, and harrassment the way this woman did. I tend to believe she is the one telling the majority of the truth. There has been rumor to the fact that she did not state all the facts upfront. However, in any sexual harrassment case the victim is alway embarrassed and humiliated to tell all. I believe all will come out. The first trial was put to a hault from him excepting a plea, if a lawsuit, he will be forced to go on record. It might come out a year from now or even two but it will come out which seems to be a driving force of this case. Dr. Brande should have nipped this in the but when it first brewed. However you cannot change history just make it right from here on. Atleast give him a chance to do the right thing before he retires then dump it in Shelley's lap. It would be a respectable way to leave.

You know it takes a good and upright human being to RETRACT what was said on a public forum, even though it's anonymous you did sign in and let yourself be known. That takes backbone. YOU should not push aside the possibility of running for the BOE. Many parents would vote for you. Your MAJOR contribution is you don't seem to go on emotion but fact which is needed. You have to be fair to BOTH parties and just argue what is standing before you.

I don't think that this situation is going to be much of a problem. Matter of fact, people are getting angry because they feel defeated. They are not. Their voices are being heard if at least. Like you said when you KEEP hearing the same things over and over again you tend to believe them. That is also true for the complainant. All I hear is how nice she is and how she is standing up for what she believes she was wronged(by the school). When and if a trial is underway I am sure the school will argue that they did everything they possibly could. However I seem to remember a gentleman by the name of Hinricks thanking Dr. Brande for being timely and prudent in giving Mr. Hinricks a reponse to an inquiry he wrote. I am sure her legal team can research what cases Dr. Brande gave adequate responses to compared to never calling this woman back until she would just show up at his office. Discrimination, Sexual Harrassment, Woman's Issue, call it what you may, he DID NOT want to deal with this issue and tried to avoid it hoping she would go away. Brande is OVER WITH, he had no choice but to resign or he would be RUINED from this. Best move he made.

NO...what these idiots do is pass FM's house, job, Clinton Elemenatary, Sue's house, see if something is laid on her lawn or if she parked her car at a different slant and then dash to the computer to shake these two up. I heard,,well from what I understand is they wanted to do this even before this stuff...but the complainant is putting camera's outside her house. Seems two of her neighbors have them that's how a black auto was picked up and then a tip came in with the identity. The painting of her car was also picked up but it is costly to enhance the picture so they are waiting until that can be part of the court proceedings. I know it's the newest thing. With nut job copycats that can't live without getting into these two people's lives so much ...not a bad idea if both did it. It's sad you would think they both robbed a bank or something.
