Anyone know anything about Assemblywoman Ferrar wanting to make a move out of the legislature? I heard rumors.... what say you?

First of all Donna F. doesn't live in the district, she resides full time in the Albany area, where she lives with her hubby Bob Gregory and their artificially inseminated child.

Second of all, the only reason she is still an Assemblywoman is that woman part of the title.

Third reason, woman from the Town of Hempstead.

It's only a matter of time before she moves on, rumor here is an executive posting in the Pataki administration - something akin to undersecy of Consumer Affairs.

I saw Donna driving a minivan in Garden City the other day. She was talking on a hands free cell phone (either that or she was talking to herself) and putting on Makeup. There oughta be a law. LOL.

Hey Inside Out no need for bashing ANYONE! Donna pulls in 65-59% of the vote each year... she is doing a great job! If it were true it would be very sad for the 15th AD.

A done deal last summer. In exchange for her vote for Nesbitt for Rep. Leader instead of LI Flannagan she gets state job and can leave Nassau behind for good. Good riddance.

"Inside out" seems a little uninformed. Donna lives in Salisbury with her 2 (not 1) children. I happen to live in her neighborhood and see her quite often. I don't know anything about her leaving, but I hope she stays. I have to agree with "Ferrara Fan," I think she's doing a great job.

Where are her kids enrolled in school?

That should answer where she lives.

The kids are not school age yet! She lives down here so she can be close to those she represents during the off times in the Assembly. And has an apt. in Albany for when session is in. All of you, GROW UP! Don't talk about people like that.
That is what all the legislators do and are SUPPOSED to do! She is a great representative - back off!

I just don't understand what is compelling you to tell such vicious lies. I really don't. (You and InsideOut) There must be something in it for you to calumniate such a benignant person. I *honestly* (might be a hard word for you to take in there) know that Ms. Ferrara did not change her vote for leader, even though, for some odd reason, you wish she had so you could publicly ridicule her...sorry mister get real argument. Politics is a tricky game and I know that one thing Ms. Ferrara has in this game is her word- she is good for it. Also, she does not live in Albany, but she does not commute from LI everyday either. Actually, she stays in LI more often than most LI representatives. She is a good person, that is why it is so hard for me to believe that you want to make up lies about her... or are just uninformed spreading rumors (like most old women tend to do).

There is no question that Donna's double-dealing ways have caught up with her. From her backstab vote for Nesbitt to her backbiting and attack on Marc Herbst- (who actually took care of her kids- nice one Donna) to her thumbing of her nose at loyal GOPer's with her let them cake attitude of the Hempstead Town Board is all one has to look at. Thanks Donna- for nothing.

pulease is right. She's not trusted. Not liked in Albany and is looked at with watchful eye for her refusal to run for Town Board. Donna should understand that her leader is Joe Mondello and not Rep. Tom Reynolds.

I like Donna and think she's a good assemblywoman. but with her children and her inability to live in the district she should look at leaving. Its disturbing enough that she's not visible but to have lost the confidence of your colleagues...

Donna's future has dimmed. She no longer has the strength and respect of Albany and the district. She should pack it in and step aside like she should have for Marc Herbst. Hicksville deserves better!
