Seems Tom had a fundraiser in Florida recently. Raise big bucks.

Also, the rumor mill has it that the GOP is trying to have Gallisano not run, and thenthe GOP would endorse Suozzi.

Maybe that is why Tom has been mum on saying anything bad about the GOP takeover of teh legislature.

Suozzi described Schmitt as the "poster child for the Nassau County Republican Machine." Doesn't sound like Suozzi is trying to play nice at all with the Republicans, or at least the Nassau County Republicans he dislikes, like soon to be Presiding Officer Schmitt. Suozzi cannot pick and choose who he likes and dislikes in the GOP if he wishes to join it.

But I can just picture Herr Suozzi in Florida shaking down snowbirds for political contributions, even though the snowbirds are all 95% for Spitzer to begin with. After Suozzi's little trip to the Hassidim and now to hit up the snowbirders, I guess the Borscht Belt comics and their audiences better hide their wallets

Actually that would be incorrect. There is some traction with this. The silent meetings with Suozzi's people are still occuring, albiet, muted, there are still meetings.

Shouldn't he be in Nassau County, New York running its government? Didn't county voters just re-elect him? Tell him he should be in Nassau County New York, not Nassau County Florida. Jeez! Please take him back- we don't want him to do it here, like he has done it there.
