You might want to reflect on the consequences of a law that passed without going through proper committees. The whole law is unconstitutional, and has many evil additions like the one that Senator Frist made.

First of all the provision you are speaking about was added in the House before it reached the Senate.

Second,someone should have told the Dems to be careful what they wished for because now Lott is gone.

Had they backed off after they did their damage he would still be there in two years to take shots at. Now the Dems are making a putrid attempt to say Lott's views are those of the Republican caucus. This will never stick, in fact it may backfire.
