Why is Suozzi sending out an exploratory team out to see if he has a chance to become nominated Gov.? I tell you,he has no support from me. He is too transparent,self-righteous&self-serving. The problems he inherited here in Nassau are still here after 4 years and he is planning his great escape. The over-paid police force told him to S TICK it,his plan to incorporate the school districts in Nassau to help curb school taxes went no-where,he appoints people who are not Nassau county residents and pays us lip service. If these are the qualifications for being elected Gov. then i will speed up my escape from NY. He will be worse then Pataki.

publik enemy no 1 may have a point.

It was reported today that ...Suozzi said he is seeking the Democratic nod first, but he would not turn down the support of other parties.

"Who would?" he asked. "I have always enjoyed the support of Republicans, Democrats and Independents. I would not have won here in Nassau County without 100,000 Republican voters."

A group of seven Democratic chairs -- including Richard Schaffer, head of the Suffolk Democratic Committee -- issued a statement yesterday criticizing Suozzi for his openness to GOP backing.
"A good Democrat would never even consider doing such a thing," the statement said. "It demonstrates a shocking lack of party loyalty and principles."... (from Newsday.com)

SOOOOOO......what makes this different from what Roger's doing to be PO?
