republicans face a a major challenge in 03' but heres my plan

conte for supervisor ( keeping assembly seat safe)
(2nd choice - joanne raia)

black-kelley town council

copadammo - town council - ( if conte wins, copodammo for assembly in special election)

republican appointment to town council when capodammo goes to albany

The Supervisor's Seat is not up in Huntington in 2003. It was just up in 2001 and does not go up until 2005. It is a 4 year term. The only way Conte can run for Supervisor is if Petrone runs for County Executive and wins. Then there would be a special election for Supervisor or an appointee from the Town Council (I believe) and with 3 of the 4 Town Board Members being Democrats, a Democrat would be appointed to the Supervisor's seat. Leaving Conte in Albany and Capadano in the Council Seat.

Will be the key factor in the GOP gaining some seats on the town board. Look for Jack Condon to be the Conservative Candidate endorsed by the GOP.

I beleive youre both wrong. Supervisor election is November 2004.

Republicans must put up two Board seats against Budd and Berland in 03. Conte runs again in 04 and therefore loses his seat. I dont think Budd will run. Dems will have Berland and Edwards. Republicans?

Conservatives also want to win with their new team. Condon is old news and wont get either nod.

04 Supervisor- Morrow from Huntington Bay.

If that did happen your secnario is still off. I dont think Cappadano lives in that district. Conte will never get the
nomination because he could not win. Joanne doesnt want the job. My money is still on Morrow.

Town board next year- Black Kelly
Rich McGrath republicans berland edwards dems.
