The school disrict has spent one million dollars over it's buget during the last two years. Last night the district accepted the resignation of the former superintendent who retired last year and was working part time as a business offical. The district is facing 20-30% tax hike next year if it does make cuts.

It appears the amount of money spent over the budget is growing as we balance the checkbook. This practice would continue had we not changed auditors and superintendant. $$$$$$$$$$$

What is center moriches not telling you? They rolled out a well organized media attack without discussing it first with east moriches. This paints east moriches into a corner. Why???? Are there money problems in future for center moriches and looking for east moriches money to solve them?

I certainly think that center moriches has money problems but are covering it up from the tax payers. plus how can they start up 3 new sports programs without raising taxes. they only way for these sports programs not to get off the ground is to vote down the budget in may and again in june. their figures in the paper didn't include bus transportation aide or coaches salary. plus, where is the $55,000 that the moriches seahawks promised the school board?

yeah on track by raising me 30 percent in school spending. VOTE NO ON THE BUDGET !!

Some meeting last night.

They're asking for a 29% increase in taxes, but if we, the taxpayer, vote no then they will only be able to raise taxes by 21% and the world will come to an end.

Too bad we cant tar and feather the bums and run 'em out of town.
