Is Charlie O'Shea a dead man walking? Rumors out of Mineola are that O'Shea and his hand picked reassessment firm - Cole Layer Trumble - have badly screwed up the reassessment project, and that he is warring with the party and staff. Fortunately, no Dems have staked a claim to his chair.

That's one another posting said. It makes sense, because usually the biggest race leads, and other than judges, assessor would be the only County wide Race.

Assessor follows the State Supreme Court Juges in the 10th District.

Hope the Republicans put one of their Jewish Judge names up front, that should seal it for O'Shea. (Of course the Jewish constituency is the wealthiest in the GOP, but voterwise make up less than 5% of total party enrollment.) Great political move for them to do this, certain defeat!
