Brookhaven Council Raises

First we get wards and now stupid comments by Esposito and Santoro in today's Suffolk Life. We are screwed in 2003.

Although I like Council Districts but not the current Town Council, I would support pay raises. They are right, they are paid about $60,000 a year but County Legislators make close to $70,000. Bringing their pay to up around that 70 mark would be OK.

Speaking of Council Districts...looks like we will go forward with them.

Democrats in Brookhaven are going to be picking up a few seats on this Board. Finally!!

Someone needs to take LaValle out...who can it be?!?

Have they voted themselves in their raises or did they abandon it due to the negative backlash, especially that editorial in the Suffolk Life newspapers sometime ago?
