With all the claims that Legislator Dave Mejias has made in his speeches and political literature.I am surprised he has not taken credit for inventing the internet. :roll:

It’s an insult to all the people who actually have done the work on the many projects he has and is taking credit for. From the Liberty Cleanup, the Massapequa Preserve and countless other projects, Mr. Mejias has taking credit for accomplishments that done by other people and organizations. :oops:

His answer to the ever increasing cost to live in Nassau County is “blame your school districts and throw out your State Senators and Assemblyman". :?

I for one have had enough of his taking credit and passing the buck. Vote for a person who has and will make a difference in everything he does. Vote for Tom Sabellico. :D

Anyone who knows the way things work realize that the majority of the property texes come from the school taxes. Also anyone that knows the way things work know that the cut in school aid from Albany put forth by pataki in early 2003 has played a major role in the school taxes going up and as a result propery taxes going up. The cuts agreed by the assembly were lower than the original cuts requested in school aid by Pataki, however the cuts still did play a major role in the increase in school & property taxes. Anyone who knows how things work realize that the key to reducing property taxes has very little to do with the assesment programs and pratically everything to do with the school taxes (which generally make up about 2/3 of the total property taxes)

Why vote for a liar in Sabellico? They are distributing fliers that claim Mejias has voted for a tax increase. Really? Approving the MYP is actually voting for a tax increase?

The Republibums still just don't understand fiscal management. You think after getting their heads handed to them the past 4 years they would have taken some time to learn some business basics.

Mejias would be technically correct about school districts and state officials. You should have said "Vote for Tom Sabellico if you want to ignore the truth."

My County taxes went up about 25% thanks.

19.4% was from Tom S. and his team. as for the rest I guess I was underpaying. But now I am over paying My County parks look like hell, My Country roads are falling apart. And we need more Police, were did my money go?

To pay Toms hacks from the city! Tom keep giving parks & roads to the Towns what am I paying you for? Get rid of all of them let the Towns run the show. And lets be done with you.
