At Sunday night's budget-busting Nassau Legislative meeting, it is rumored that Dave Denenberg was the guilty party pushing to hire more unnecessary police officers.

Is this true? And, why didnt' Suozzi veto the plan.

I happen to believe that Nassau doesn't NEED any more cops, regardless of their cost.

What role did Denenberg play in this debacle.

He is also rumored to have said he would not object to raising taxes to pay for this additional police hiring. Is that true?
