He has done nothing! He has a few signs but what is campaign doing? When are they going to get going, December? Get off of your ass and do something for God sake.
You are handing the election to Mejias. Why? Is there a deal?
Do you think the PBA is going to do it for you? Wake up, people HATE the PBA the average guy in FDale and Levittown do not manke anywhere near what those jokers make.

Seems that way I have seen one Sabellico sign on Carmen's Road in Massapequa about 1/2 mile north of the Sunrise Mall, but thats about it. Mejias will win

Why is it that the only Mejias sign in Viceroy is on Daves front lawn?
Also I hear that the X Mrs Mejias will be getting the house. and by the way Mejias DOES NOT HAVE A THOUGH OF HIS OWN, HIS NOSE IS SO FAR UP Suozzi BUTT IT IS ALL BROWN.
He fired his campaign manager, Suozzi isn't giving the money or support he needs. He served his purpose and there are other candidates that have a better chance of winning. His marriage is in ruin and too hot to touch with the IDA issue. His own party is distancing from him. He is in trouble!
Suozzi is only interested in keeping the majority vote and could care less about Mejias.
Mehias's ship is sinking and no one is helping him. Maybe he will jump his ship and become a Republican again. NOT!
His buddy Suozzi is about to jump onto the Republican state ticket.

Appearance does matter but no, Sabellico will not lose because he is fat but because Dave is the incumbant and has done a good job. He has good name recognition and presents a good appearance.
You are forgetting, this is not a solid Republican seat where people would vote for the republican no matter what. This is a higher profile seat not like say the oyster bay town council. Maybe there Sabellico could get elected but not against a popular incumbant.

1) You just move to Nassau County? They found that out in 2003. The redistricting was done after 2001. This will be the second time. We elect our county legislators every 2 years, not every 4.
2) Dave's not from Farmingdale. He's from North Massapequa. Also, the candidate's address/town does not appear on the ballot..only his name and party. Anyone who knows enough about their local officials to know where Dave lives already knows he's their legislator.
3) I'm not sure how Mejias is responsible for the home invasions.

4) Those Democratic voters you speak of in Plainview/Old Bethpage are Jews, not Italians. The Italians are Republicans.

I was at the Farmingdale fair to day and saw Mr. Mejias with Mr. Suozzi handing out palm cards. I talk to them for some time they did not want to talk to me.When I got home and read the cards,I could not belive what I was reading.

This has been going on for at less five years and Mejias has only been a LEGISLATURE for two. (so what did you do as 1 of 19 voting on it, oh you show up for that vote?)
As for the Liberty Site in Farmingdale that was a win for the Town government (Town of Oyster Bay not the County ) and all the Massapequa and Farmingdale Civics who worked so hard for so long. Sabellico has run a terrrible campaign and Mejias is everywhere and is loved. The only people that are supporting Sabellico are the real inside committee people and parents that want their kid on the travel team. The fact that Sabellico stole from the little league is going to be hitting voters mail boxes any day now.
Suozzi HQ rumor is that Mejias is so popular in his district they are asking him to do automated phone calls for other candidates a la Suozzi. Starting with McCaffrey. She wins on the Suozzi/Mejias coatails.
Poll shows him winning big. This one is over. Dems are moving all of their troops to Solomon and Toback who are in much tighter races.
