View Full Version : Cedar Creek Sewage Plant

For the past two weeks, the Long Island Press, has published articles on a Toxic Hazard at the Cedar Creek Plant. Discharges of raw sewage into the Atlantic Ocean off Tobay beach, air borne pathogens and bacteria emitted into the Seaford and Wantagh Communities, as well as two elementary schools and two public parks may have endangered thousands. Neither Newsday or News12 Long Island have addressed this issue. Their silence is deafening. Why?
The public should be made aware of this potential health threat, so as to inform their physicians of possible contamination in the event of an unexplained illness.
The alleged coverups and official denials were exposed by plant workers worried about their own health. There should be a complete investigation of the conditions at the plant. Any misconduct by managers and public appointees should result in immediate dismissal and legal prosecution considered.

The Cover-up comes from Catugno, Polcer and stiletto heels, Mini skirt, Miller. Watch the lies now. The three stooges. Another Suozzi scandel.

You can check the plant history according to USEPA here:

Click the Search button for the reports.
No indications of any gross violations, which could mean one of two things: the alleged horrible conditions are being contained within the plant, or, someone is falsifying information on effluent quality in the reports submitted to DEC and EPA.

"No indications of any gross violations, which could mean one of two things" . . . how about the L.I. Press has its own agenda . . how about a core group of employees at the Plant believe false alegations against current management will turn back the clock to the good old days . . . how about the employees actually interested in doing a good job being afraid to speak-up because they are concerned that the Plant might return to the good (bad?) old days? I didn't think there were any people left who actually believed everything they read!

Hey R. Cutugno:
How about you get real and come to the realization that your days are coming to an end as the plant boss. You are right, up until now everyone was scared to speak out, but that's all in the past. The good old days as you say are when we had enough people to get the job done, and your sony bono ass was not in the union. The union is all over you and your henchmen. I was there when Jerry L from the union put you in your place. We'll just have to wait and see what the future brings. Hopefully it brings an end to you as our super!

I was there when the union showed up again unaanounced. I saw Cotungno's strong arms try to keep them out. It was a scene worth watching. The union along with Legislator Denis Dunne literally pushed their way around and yelled their way into the plant.
I hear Cotugno's days are numbered. Finally, our day of reckoning. Please don't stop now, because these people sre natural liars and they will do or say anything right now, since you got them on the run. Get them out and help us at CEDAR CREEK
Thanks CSEA! Thanks Mr. Dunne. Thanks News 12 and LI Press!!

Who will Suozzola throw to the wolves on this coverup? Gerbasi, depends on how hard he protects old stick legs Miller and her lover boy Sonny Bono, Cotugno. The logical easy dead meat in this coverup is Polcer, this is his Political M.O. go in with no creditientals and get involved in something illegal and run for political cover. What did he know and when did he know it. Like the dumping of the concrete on Cedar Creek Property , I'am sure no one saw that, you must be kidding. Rampad incompitence. and political hackism, the return of Rinchuso and Gaddy, Miller and Polcer.Dumb and Dumber. Great timing, just before election and the public debates a major envirormental cover-up. Real Smart

Cover up? . . . what cover up? . . . involved in something illegal? . . . how about you give details of the "something" . . . lots of hot air and no one has yet to provide any specifics or factual information . . . I'm sure that Leg. Dunne only has the employees best interests at heart . . . yeah right.

Leg. Dunne has an election coming up, and he just recently realized that he hasn't done a darn thing for us here. So he has to try to manufacture a photo op - the only real thing he understands (besides a "Now, Dennis, You're Going To Vote No Tonight" phone call from Uncle Joe.
where's stuttering clark?

Is Clark going to take a stand on the Cedar Creek debacle, or is he too busy kissing Suozzi's behind and otherwise being inconsequential?

you're cutting and pasting too much, and you messed up your post!
where you put 'clark' and 'ineffectual' you meant 'dunne' and where you put 'suozzi's behind' you meant 'uncle joe mondello's behind.'
as far as we can tell, clark is about as far removed from suozzi as dunne is sewn up inside mondello's pocket.
and about clark's supposed stuttering: don't know, all i saw of clark speaking was on the 2003 news12 debate, when he kicked dunne's behind pretty well.
seems to me you have no real reason to support dunne, and clearly no reason to knock clark, so you make up nonsense about him.
no doubt you're a nassau republican!

Maybe if Jay Jacobs actually gave Clark money in 2003, the buffoon on Gardiners Ave. would be history.
Let's hope this time around, Jacobs took his hands out of azz.
even jj has sense

Stuttering John Clark is looking for money from J Jacobs a/k/a Tom Suozzi and he isn't getting any. Sounds like Clark is a big stammering chump to me.

When the legislators were first given a copy of the 'secret tape' (which it appears everyone now has) R. Cotogno and cronies went through the facility (including a 3:am raid by cotugno himself on the gaurdhouse) to find out who made it, distributed it, contacted the legislature and who was calling the union. Union head B. Campo had his hours changed, and others wer told they better keep their mouths shut. When the union went there they had a 'map' smuggled to them by a fellow DPW Worker which allowed them to find many of the troubled areas. They found sewage, flooding, unhealthy air, bugs, leaks, spills, and electrical wires and boxes hanging over pooled water. Our hero's in charge said they found nothing. Our union filed a complaint with OSHA. They said they found substantial health and safety problems.
The coverup is in the manner in which they coerced the workers into silence. Wait and see how many people come out from under the puddles when this thing gets blown up. You will clearly see the coverup then.
