rupert laughs at suozzi

Today's Post panned Suozzi as a candidate for governor. Also related how Suozzi is confidentially letting everyone know.
Tom got it right -its now or never-
You got it---- he loses the primary big time and its never. He will be a bored stooge if he wins the CE race.
Dad's law firm will be all that's left. Punching the law firm clock will however pay his escalating taxes on his new GC house. Maybe he might work for Levy in suffolk as Ben Zwirn's assistant.
Kamikaze Suozzi

Why wouldn't Suozzi go along with this? He's supporting for District Attorney a former prosecutor who was sued for suborning perjury - threatening a witness to "identify" the person SHE believed was the perp - even after the witness told her the guy was innocent.
GOOD AND BAD. LIKE TODAY, LEARNING THAT GOLISANO, AN EVIRONMENTAL SLEAZEBAG, WHO IS LOOKING TOWARDS TOM SUOZZI TO BE HIS POTENTIAL RUNNING MATE. SUOZZI SURROUNDS HIMSELF WITH FINANCIAL HEAVY HITTERS, NOT MATTER HOW SLEAZY THEY ARE. AS LONG AS THEY HAVE THE $$$, HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ETHICS.

TOM SUOZZI
Rising Democratic star.

October 10, 2005 -- ROCHESTER billionaire and GOP gubernato rial hopeful Tom Golisano may be eyeing a "dream ticket" that would include Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi — a Democrat — as his running mate, The Post has learned.
"Wouldn't that be an incredible dream ticket?" said a source close to Golisano. "Suozzi is a popular figure, a reformer, a very impressive guy and very ambitious."
Suozzi, who's a lawyer, a certified public accountant and an excellent public speaker, has told friends that he'd like to challenge Attorney General Eliot Spitzer in the Democratic primary for governor.
But while Suozzi is a rising star, Spitzer is the party's superstar, and few, if any, party leaders believe that Spitzer can be defeated.
On the other hand, as Golisano's lieutenant governor, Suozzi could be put in charge of reforming state government and handling many of the day-to-day responsibilities of running the state.
Golisano, a distant third as the Independence Party candidate in the last three gubernatorial elections, has until Friday to switch his enrollment to Republican if he wants to seek next year's GOP endorsement.
State GOP Chairman Stephen Minarik and Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno (R-Rensselaer) predict that Golisano will switch.

Golisano has more money than God, yet can't get elected as dog-catcher. So he wouldn't be appealing to anybody to run with.
Do you guys read the Post before or after you're done wiping yourselves with it?
what plea deal?

Suozzi hasnt been a CPA since the plea deal in 1988.
I thought Suozzi gave up his CPA license in Sept, 1989, after only obtaining it in May, 1987. And why did he do this? What could have possibly happened when he was a student at Fordham Law School?

Compared to Left winged Newsday they should be pulitzer prize winners over there at the Post.

The post has a kick ass editorial page (second only to the Wall Street Journal), great coverage of Albany, the premier gossip page (page 6), strong celebrity coverage, and a decent sports page. Newsday has better comics than the Post, a slightly better sports section, and is needed for some local coverage, but that is about it. Newsday's reporting, editorial pages, and ideology are all below par.
