Is it possible that the John Kase running as a Democrat for Judge is the same John Kase who represents the disgraced superintendant of the Roslyn school district, Frank Tassone? How disgusting is that?

so, apparently people who you think are guilty of crimes should not be allowed to have lawyers? And lawyers should not represent anyone who is or may be accused of crimes?
This is such sheer nonsense. Kase is a good lawyer. People int rouble will want to retain his service. His job is to make sure their rights are protected in whatever proceedings are brought against them, and it has nothing to do with his personal beliefs. In fact, it is a credit to him that people in trouble seek his counsel.

I would bet my last nickel that Mr. Kase himself posted that transparent defense of himself. I hope his work on behalf of clients is less obvious.
Stan, I'm not John Kase, I don't play him on tv, and I'm not even particularly fond of the guy, but the fact is there's nothing "disgusting" about a judicial candidate actually practicing law. Kase does it well and, if he's elected I think he'll be a good County Court Judge.
By the way, is it any more "disgusting" for a candidate for a post that is, by its very nature, supposed to be completely impartial to seek election when he has been a career prosecutor? Somehow, I bet your answer would be no, but then, the career guys, in Nassau at least, tend to be Republicans, don't they?

Kase may very well be elected due to the presidential race and not having to contend with Suffolk voters, he nearly bought the last race with his deep pockets and his son in-laws too, Nassau County Legislator Craig Johnson, between the both of them there is no office that they will not attempt to buy. Now the bad news for Craigo, your trust fund will never be able to buy the 7th senatorial seat especially with his voting record at one west........... NOT this year and not with Balboni as AG either. So dream on and be a nobody in mineola like you are.

sorry, but you have to give up that last nickel. I'm not John Kase, and stand by my comments. Apparently, you would prefer to have only candidates who prosecute people, and not lawyers who stand up for the rights of defendants. Believe it or not, some of them actually aren't guilty!!!

I agree in a person's right to do a job as an attorney, but I'll bet you double or nothing that Tassone either pleads guilty or is found guilty after trial of a felony. Book it.

Represents someone who will do nothing but alienate a traditionally Democratic voting base in Rosly, thereby hurting all Dems. AND the guy lives in NYC, not Nassau. How is that OK?

A rising tide lifts all boats, and a dead weight do-nothing, Kase, will carry them all to the bottom of the sea.

Is this the John Kase who is married to a former Glen Cove City Clerk who is also an attorney?
