Best place is Newsday.com and follow the link to the SC BOE link. They did a real good job getting everything up quickly tonight. SHAME SHAME SHAME on Channel 12's coverage. There were some big issues in the primaries and their coverage was awful. The one reporter didn't even know how to say people's names. I saw on one site that Carriaccolo lost? Thats Huge nothing on Channel 12 News. Nothing about Town of Islip and the bashing McGowan and the GOP took from kicked out Bodkin and Co. So disappointed in News 12.

Demarco, Vincent F. 1,405 votes for a 53.75 % share of the vote.
Mr. Kevins is still the Sheriff's currier/aid.
Demarco now has every line in the November 08, 2006 election except for the Republican line which was given to Tisch.
With an average turnout for a primary the Suffolk County Board of Elections ruled Demarco the clear winner after a brief re - count for accuracy. With only 48 absentee ballots and Demarco ahead by 204 votes Demarco was declared the winner.
YOU GO VINNY !
AND MORE LITERALLY - YOU CAN GO NOW KEVINS AND TISCH ET AL.

Exit polls conducted throughout the day showed that the deciding factor in todays primary -
The posters sent out to Conservatives in Brookhaven Town depicting Demarco and Hillary Clinton as a two headed Donkey.
One man was quoted as follows;
"The use of Hillary Clinton's picture joined with Demarco's on a donkey was ridiculous", "Kevins is the real Jack@ss for doing that".
Many voters advised that the above advertisement was well over the top and tipped the scales in favor of Demarco. Most of the older voters were very outspoken about thier angst for this type of display by a supposed Conservative and advised that this ad pushed them into the Demarco camp for this and the Sheriff election Nov 08, 2005.
Vinny - Vinny - Vinny
