Nassau Legis. John Ciotti (R-North Valley Stream), who lost his bid for re-election in November after 16 years in office, has been named the $300,000-a-year general counsel of the Nassau University Medical Center and associated facilities.

You wonder why the Dems can't win an election. You see nothing wrong with what they just did for Ciotti. It's wrong because no one took care of Yaturo! What a hypocrite. No wonder this county is going down the tubes, 262 people get laid off, a loosing hack gets a job he is unqualified for at and all you can say is what about Yaturo? No clue.

Not true. Walker & Mangano screwed alot of the republicans who worked the campaign for them. All they took care of were the people on their personal friends & family list and the relatives of the big shots who suck everything there is to suck out of the air. That's why Mangano has to cut deals with the democrats - he's still got some of the Suozzi people on personal service contracts and on his payroll - evaluating the republicans that were hired for low level, low paid jobs. And as for the education - the levels have been lowered. High school grads got a break - people with advanced degrees got screwed. Look at the exams they've been putting out and the education levels of the commissioners and directors they appointed.
