The media has many times crucified a candidate and guess what they still prevailed. Your logic although convincing to the blog readership is flawed and bias . It is true that a good canidate can win even with negative media coverage. It takes a very clever canidate to do that.

Tisch is not a good or clever canidate.

Everytime he has tried to get positive media coverage it has backfired. First the overtime press conference blew up on him when they nailed him for using phoney numbers. Then his attempt to explain his illegal movement of C/O's into District Court made him look like a fool.

If Tisch were a good canidate he would not have lost most of the lines he had 4 years ago. He is lucky to even have the Republican line.

Going into an election as a Brookhaven Republican with no other lines, nothing but negative press, and no other lines is suicide at best.

I was very disheartened with the recent mailing from Mr. Kevins. It depicted Demarco with Hilary Clinto and abstract ramblings about partial birth abortions. Are you kidding me? The picture was an obvious fake, therefore I would believe Mr. Demarco has never met Clinton - making Kevins a liar and a fraud. When I read about Sheriff Tisch denying knowlege of Mr. Kevins primary against Demarco I was convinced that this was a sham to pull votes away from Demarco. When Newsday and News twelve called Tisch on his Lies and printed his silly responses to their questions I knew then I couldn't vote for Tisch as our County's Sheriff. This entire primary was an "OLD SCHOOL CROOKHAVEN TRICK" and it has cost Mr. Tisch any chance at my vote. I will vote against Tisch in this primary, (AGAINST KEVINS), and against Tisch again in the general election for office of the Sheriff.
