Whose gonna be next. The DA's office is flooded with investigations. Some of which we've been hearing about pertaining to misappropriation and missing money. Which school district is going to be the next to catch an administrator with their hands in the kitty?

There is no doubt that Wyandanch should be investigated.It is there where the church prevails over children's education.Prayer is still held before events(maybe not a bad thing but illegal).It is there where church members,though not quallified,are employed.Speak out against Rev Bacon,Rev Talbert or Sister Saleem and your terminated.I've seen it firsthand for many years and the State Ed Dept avoids it like the plaque it is.

Patchogue-meford and sachem will be the next 2.

Sachem is clean. PM is a mess. I would have to say it will be the district where the most residents complain.

it is amazing how common the thread of corruption runs among our communities school boards. Can it be merely an aberration of moral character among venal people pursuing personal riches, or are we dealing with an overall breakdown of our society's sense of what is right and what is wrong...what can they get away with...a sense of rightousness when it comes to taking advantage? How can we reform school funding without reexamining the fundamentals about how we are educating our children?

The basic tenets of the classroom as educational factory deserve deconstruction; with our teacher's union representing "Labor" and the people of the school district represented as "Management", with No Child Left Behind representing the "Benchmark" of quality control, our whole education-as-institution is trapped in a lockstep goose-march directly toward the cliff of mediocrity and bankruptcy.

That model of factory/labor/management smacks so much of early 20th century industrial revolution social development, it's practically antique in our post-modern, 21st century, world-wide-web connected 24-hour-streaming global economy. Are we doing the very best we can to send our children out into the world and compete on that basis using our current scheme? Can we remodel and reform our philosophy on education? Is it already too late for this generation?

What are you talking about!? This simply is a forum to vote on what district we think will be next in finding a scandal. What that has to do with your diatribe I don't know.

What school district do you hail from? If I had my guess probably one of the multiple choice answers. Maybe thats part of the problem LOL.

I am a college educated person, and your post is laced with so much fluff I don't even know what you're trying to say and how that is relevant to what school district will be found with malfeasance and theft of funds.

My wife works at district office...says that there are people who are not employees - people she's never seen before in her 15+ years there takign boxes after boxes of things out of the administrative center. If they were taking things out to hide them I doubt they'd do that in the middle of the day out in the open. The only thing that makes sense is that they are providing information to the district attorney or some other governing agency.
