It was nice to see the North Lindenhurst Chief's vehicle on Sunrise Hwy this morning around 7:15am near Bellport. I'm going to say, it's safe to say that he was a litte out of his district. Good to know that the Taxpayers are flipping the bill for that little trip!! Way to go dummy!!

I as a taxpayer would rather flip the bill for these VOLUNTEER fire chiefs to go to work than to pay for a PAID chief's salary. Most districts are what 14 or 15 square miles. If you think he has the truck just to drive around in their respected districts, you are wrong. The chief takes on a very important role, look it up in the NYS Laws and what the chiefs responsibilities are. Its there in black and white.. I don't see one about where he can take his vehicle. Once again assholes, if you think its costing you a lot for the fire service then you better research some more. You pay nothing and the service is volunteer, I DON"T GIVE A FUCK WHERE THE CHIEF OF MY DISTRICT TAKES HIS VEHICLE. All the fire departments on long island are saving us a huge amount of tax money. Go ahead do some research and see how much money it would cost the county if you had a paid service, its been done before. If you have an issue with what chiefs do with their vehicles, go to a commissioners meeting and complain their, but bring facts and research with you to back it up.

First of all im not a member of NLFD buddy ive been around for a long time in the TOB and chris is a cocky mother f#ck3r just like brian gassen. Just FYI a very large majority of people think hes a little wise ass douche and hopefully they reflect that feeling in thier votes.
