This character has proven himself to be a do nothing union President. He hides behind his door and the union office. His staff uses voice mail to filter out angry union members. He seems to be on the side of management. He refuses to do a meet and greet with the very members who voted him into office. First impressions are importent and this character has made a poor one with many members. What's the story Jerry? Isn't it time you get off your fat ass and do what you were voted into office to do in the first place. You can start with the Social Services building next week seeing over 1400 members work out of that building. The clock is running Jerry. Time to step up to the plate and protect your members.

Jerry has lots to learn and is working very hard. Its going to take time to undo some of the damage done by the previous administration. Jane had everybody's hands tied. When I call the union I get an answer or a return call within a day or two. I am glad I got my whole unit to actually GET INVOVED and vote for Jerry!!

As for what he has done.....Discovered 25 major infractions which the past administration tried to hide by cooking the books, saved our local about $150,000.00 in future wastes by making cost cutting, yet tough decisions, ordered his staff to pay up 15 units which were never paid thier rebates because the previous people were too busy stealing the money to campaign with, had the entire union office cleaned up, painted and computerized, created an email structure for all his members to contact the union at any time, entered into a contract with the LI Press to educate the public for an entire year about what our union and its members actually do everyday, had an audit done which showed the vast waste of funds and mis-directed union dues which were permitted under the past regime, had the same accountant fix the bank accounts so that we are now up to date and in full compliance with the law and CSEA financial standard codes, actually endorsed republicans and democrats who support the union, caused David Greene to have at least one stroke and hopefully get him out, worked to get 75 nurses promoted at NUMC, and has had to change the location of his installation dinner because of overwhelmingly high response and turnout. Over 300 people paid for tickets with a waiting list. Not to mention the hundreds of ndividual cases he has personally taken care of to help his members out. I know, I'm there everyday. Our union had never been more active, stronger or more reactive to our members. You my friend are a LOSER (that's how you spell it, but you already know that right?)
