Could it be because his daughter Lisette (sp) is up for a Bush appointment as a Deputy in the Veterans Administration? Stay tuned. If it's true we now know why the GOP has done zero in terms of the upcoming CE race. Joe is dreaming of a cushy job in D.C.

You must be a political insider to conclude that he has done nothing for the CE race. Its more likely that you don't know what is going on behind the scenes, otherwise you wouldn't spew such uninformed BS. Labor Day kicks off election season. The Republicans will come out swinging from there.

Fat Joe only cares about the Town of Hempstead. All the other candidates are on their own; but they have to clear everything they do with Santino. Bet ya Venditto gets more votes and a higher percentage than Kate Murray does (again) ; but Mondello only has eyes for "Katie from the block!"

Maybe when the GOP loses its only MOC on Long Island in 2006


BTW- The future hold great things for the Supervisor of the TOH from Levittown. Maybe she will be wanting Hillary to win in 2008 (wink wink)

Joe is circling the wagons in the TOH. His last stronghold on patronage.

He's gotten himself involved in Village elections, looking for the last opportunity for sweetheart deals and contracts for his friends.

He's taking care of his own personal business in preperation for the big rats jump off the sinking ship. Remember when all the other rats jumped off Gulotta's ship?

He's directing his peons to engage in campaigns of hate and predjudice to protect is ideal of greed.

Bottom line - He's on his way out.

Poor Dennus Dun - He be all alone on Election Night as he thumbs a ride home on Post Avenue. He'll probably be clueless on what to do next.
