Like this has anything to do with Nassau politics. First off , I'm not a Mangano supporter...but who gives a poop what/who the NYPD endorses. They have NOOOO say in Nassau politics. The only people of the "35,000" are the ones that live in Nassau.

You forget the thousands of retired law enforcement and their families?
All it took was Ed Mangano to get all law enforcement to vote democrat!

Just add the thousands of Nassau cops to the thousands of Nassau union members and then add the LI Buss service employees and you've got a GAME CHANGER!

They're going to vote Democratic and start cross dressing too? Because that's what they'd be if they vote Democratic ... political cross dressers.

The Republican party is ruining Nassau County and people are aware of that.
Ed Mangano is the worst CE we have ever had.
If they vote Democratic that makes them people who are doing the right thing.
dedicated???

So what you are saying is that police officers who constantly claim they are dedicated to helping others and the community are in reality only looking out for themselves?
In 2010 nearly half the sworn members of the NCPD made over $150,000 in pay and benefits. Yet you believe Mangano is hurting them?

35,000 endorse? You mean the Union Bosses who are looking out for themselves and the democrats, not the taxpayers. Everyone in law enforcement knows the endorsements are a joke-most PBA cops are registered republicans.
Of course more democrat bullshit spewed from political operatives on this board. Can't wait to wake up on November 9th with a larger GOP majority and egg on the democrats face!

If it weren't for the cops, a blowhard coward like you would be sleeping under your bed before you woke up to a larger Republican majority.
By the way, when you emerge from under your bed, it won't be.

Complete nonsense.......you never mention that Nassau Cops made $23,000 their first year going up to a whopping $30K their 2nd year, $35K their third and $42K their 4th?
Try raising 2 kids and paying a mortgage on $23K a year!
The average pay is much higher now that MANGANO REFUSES to hire NEW COPS!
If you have less cops you will have more overtime! SO instead of 4,500 Nassau cops making $75,000 average you have $2,500 making an averafe of $120,000.
BTW Ed Mangano makes $200,000 with a PENSION for shaking hands.
NCPD?

You should have said pig at the public trough not call cops the name leftists use.
Yes, it it is cops vs taxpayers, the cops will lose. Once public opinion turns, its over. Carver is probably taking advice from Spitzer.

LE unions are finally waking up to the fact that they are a part of the organized labor community that the republicans have been trying to destroy for a long time.
Union members ARE tax payers.

Were I a union member, I'd be very afraid at the course of action taken by my union's leadership. I see the GOP holding on and maybe even gaining a seat. I could be wrong, but if I'm right, union members should get ready to bend over thanks to your leaders' stupidity.

The GOP is going after the unions whether they get the endorsements or not.
Whats more "stupid"; Backing the guys that are going to screw you after they get elected, or backing the guys that support you even if they lose?

What would be really stupid is not using all of you members and affiliates to get out the vote to remove elected officials that that you know are going to hurt you at the first opportunity.
If the PBA and other unions can't collectively stop Mangano's lunacy; who can?

If you are waiting at church for a 5lb block of cheese maybe you should get a job. The rest of us are sick of supporting you. Or, you can sell that computer, that could buy some food.

I'm a union member. I like my 150K, part-time job, great benefits, and take home car. Raise taxes, that's better for my pension. My wife works for the county too.
