Can we see TOH taxes automatically deducted any time soon

from one's checking or savings account. It is getting ridiculous with the Highest Tax County & Town in the country, government can't do a simple task such as this.

Anybody know when this miracle will occur?

Performing that bit of technological brilliance would require less than a smidgen of IT know-how. Unfortunately, the TOH government only recently discovered the wheel and fire. IT is a joke. You can't do anything on the TOH website other than see Kate Murray's face plastered all over the site (talk about hogging bandwidth, holy crap!!). You can't perform a single service the TOH provides online. In this day and age, that is borderline pathetic.

Wouldn't it be nice to file illegal housing complaints and be able track the progress of the complaint from start to finish online? Wouldn't it be nice to pay your TOH taxes online? Wouldn't it be nice to apply for a zoning variance online? It can be done and is done all the time in government. You can even do a few services online now with the County website (e.g. reserve a tee time). Don't count on seeing it anytime soon at the TOH.

Managing the status quo is considered a positive attribute for TOH Republicans. They wouldn't know what a new idea was if it walked up to them and planted a big kiss on their face. Let's face it, TOH Republicans are not saddled with the massive burden of innovation, creative thinking, strategic planning, and leadership.

Why would anybody in their right mind consider allowing this "gang that can't shoot straight" acess to their babk account to pay taxes?
