View Full Version : Newsday Admits To Fabricating Story With Pictures
Newsday Does It Again

When Suffolk County Executive Levy and Brookhaven Town councilman Tullo had the illegal aliens removed from an unsafe and overcrowded house in Farmingville that was also a huge firetrap, Newsday responded how cruel and inhuman it was to have them sleep in the woods.
What Newsday didn't say a month ago when they showed pictures of men sleeping on the ground in the woods was that the scene was staged. They also didn't mention that their source for much of the information was a man who has multiple names. And the figure of the number of people sleeping in the woods was also a lie or fabrication.
Now where have we heard that before concerning Newsday?

Just goes to show how low Newsday will stoop.
Are there any reprecussions aside from a page 37 retraction?

Newsday was vehemently against Levy and the police investigating the aliens sleeping in the woods
but it has shown Newsday was trying to cover up their dastardly deed of staging events in favor of illegal aliens, what a scoundrel ridden paper

Typical of that sh-t rag tabloid.
So long as nobody challenges this nonsense, it will continue. Its just like steroids in baseball...if nobody calls you on it, what motivation do you have to stop?

Suozzi in panic mode
09-02-2005, 12:18 AM
He and the people he hires won't tolerate criticism. First he publically threatens and intimidates by giving a press conference about people who allege things about his employees - completely ignoring the fact that although Dillon said the trips Klein took and charged to the County timesheets weren't Illegal, they were inappropriate (remember Clinton?) and now he cries about Keaton's very truthful and long overdue assessment of his poor record as County Executive. At least this time, unlike the New York Times Article, he had the foresight to make his puppet write the letter for him. They are all losers and scared to death the public will find out - despite the lies and campaigning Newsday does - before Election day.
================= Keaton did the job Newsday's editors should be doing. He was 100% accurate. So accurate in fact, that crybaby Cancellare scared to death nobody else will give him the cushy job he got from Suozzi, felt the need to write a whiny reply to Newsday. So quickly that one has to believe Newsday sent him an advanced copy of Keaton's article so Suozzi could recruit a crony to drop a vicious attack off right away.================
newsday getting thinner

I cancelled it so I wouldn't know. The daily news is giving good discounts and if you pay in advance for 6 months or a year by credit card or by check they give you a real nice deal.

Newsday GETS IT WRONG AGAIN ISLIP PRIMARY NOT DECIDED BY JUDGE
The article you refer to in todays Newsday is Totally wrong....
No Decision has been made to out him back on Ballot by Judge.
Went today 12:00 Noon to get absentee ballot for primary from BOE at Yaphank and was told there is no primary as of that moment.
Typical Newsday having their pr-prepared, locked and loaded blurb of how they want outcome to be.
Notice article not attributable to any staff writer.
Notice how slanted this article was written about poor Bodkin.
Newsday continues not to get it. they are beelding readership and fire staff, but they can't accept blame for the fact that they should just get back to basic reporting without injecting their socials context in every story. That is what editorial page is for.
Newsday Always Wrong

What else is new? They do a 2 page spread on whether or not you can get rid of student loans through bankruptcy - encouraging consolidation of loans - when the real problem is how to repay huge, consolidated loans that are in repayment for 30-40 years and which are accumulating $400 or more of interest a month. They are just completely irresponsible. Besides missing the point that the problem is the high interest rates on older, consolidated student loans in order to avoid having to file bankruptcy and that many people are forced to file bankruptcy because of their high student loan payments - whether or not they get them discharged, they are WRONG. They claim that currently, the average student loan debt of the typical undergraduate is about $19K. On whose planet? The average cost of a year of college is $19K. Students who are primarily financing their education, will be in debt over $60K by the time they graduate, and these days, many go on to graduate programs. College degrees are close to meaningless in today's job market and blue collar workers see higher salary's than many management type professionals. They based their data on what Sallie Mae allegedly reported to them - a skewed statistic at best because most kids take out only part of their loans through Sallie Mae so that's the average Sallie Mae reports, but kids also take out other loans with private lenders, and other groups specific to certain graduate school majors, including special loans for certain licensing and certifying examinations - all of which get added together to show a student's total debt.
yep newsday, newsday everyday
GETTING IT WRONG
Breslin The Old Fool

His verbal tirade against Bush and the government over the hurricane disaster is an abomination when he says it's about race.
Only Newsday can like this trash because,
they come out and support anarchists and commies who want an open border :x
and when radical leftists vandalize an American legion Hall which is surely a hateful act, nothing is said about the incident.
Truly dangerous times are these
