Hey, Tom, now you know that Frank earns, by far, the bulk of his living in his private law practice, and that he is PROUD of his work in government, for which, yes, he does recieve income. But, he gives value for the work he does. And, btw, all Dem your friends in govt. also get paid too, just in case you did not know it. And, some even get paid by the multitude of special districts that the Dems control all over Nassau, and North Hempstead in particular. Some even get no bid personal service contracts from the Town and County. And, some of your Dem friends even profit by the bucketload as attorneys, accountants, insurace brokers, "consultants" and the like from the many Dem controlled school districts in Nassau (like Roslyn, for instance).

So, get over it.

It is just amazing how the Dems can't just chalk this one up to the fact that one of their own blew it big time. But, then again, some of them must really believe their own bs, that theirs doesn't stink and that they can do no wrong. This was a legitimate news story. The fact that Troiano was in the midst of a re-election campaign doesn't give him immunity from complying with the law. And, since the republicans have no one in Town Hall, it was probably some of your own Dem colleagues who leaked it, so what does that say?

News flash to all shrill and sanctimonious Democrats in Nassau County: Democrats can be just as pathetic and hypocritical as you want to portray the Republicans as being. And, sometimes they are.

Private practice thru governmental contacts? Most of his money is derived from his contacts.

Only one important fact

Moroney is not an absentee landlord, renting illegal apartments for income . . .

Whoever posted that the majority of FM's $$ is from govt contracts knows better. That is a complete falacy.

He helped my parents
08-05-2005, 02:48 PM
He also helped some other members of my family. He does real estate, elderlaw and estate work in his private practice and some other family matters. I know he has worked for the Senate for years.

He is a nice man. Attacking him personally will do you no good. He is very well liked in Westbury. He has lived and worked here for many, many years.

Are your parents wanted dead or alive?

It is spelled "Fallacy". And it's not. State, county, special district monies all add up. And wind up in his pocket.

Altruism is not Maroney's strong suit.

I suppose he helped you, your parents and other family members for free? Or he performed work no other lawyer in the world could perform?

If you hired him, he wasn't "helping". He was working. Do you get as sentimental about your plumber?

With all his government "work", how does he find time to campaign? Or does he charge for local campaign stops?

Where o' where has the GOP candidate gone? Upstate to Sackett's Harbor?

Why is he counsel to an upstate Senator and not a Long island one? Does he perhaps have a second residence?

Are the papers for his two family residence east of Ellison Avenue in order, too? Or is that rule only for Troiano?

You mean Troiano owns a second rental????

11-15-2005, 05:17 PM
You mean Troiano owns a second rental????

No. Maroney lives in an apartment in a two-family in the Westbury school district.

But what if Troiano did own more than one rental? What's your point?
