He has no money to hire more police but can float a $400 million dollar bond which will increase taxes?
Something is fishy in Mineola.

Wrong, the bond may go to $600 million. Oh, he made a calculation error

It's a calculated decision with regards to soaring costs. The public can't expect the same services when budgets are cut. The next reduction will be stupid burglar alarms and school crossings.

He thinks if he's on record as not raising taxes he'll get reelected.

I'll do whatever I can to see he doesn't get reelected no matter what he doesn't do from now on. You can't screw the people who helped get you elected and think you're gonna get away with it.

Gang shootings are going crazy in Nassau. They must be paying off Newsday to keep it off the front page

Nothing will change until the freeloaders in society are cut off! That is where the money goes. Stop the entitlements and there will be plenty for the workers of Nassau!

then see where their slumlord lives
Newsday never goes after the slumlords who get your money to house these criminals
Just ask Newsday Investigative reporter Sandra Peddie whose editors stopped her from investigating Suffolk County's number 1 slumlord Donald Pius because he houses illegal aliens on taxpayer dime
He just happens to live on a 26 acre estate on the Gold Coast
