View Full Version : Huntington Democrats Attacking Their Power Base
Concerned Dem

Whats wrong with the party? We attack school districts and literally some of their personnel. We attack the Irish Americans. We attack the African Americans. We attack the unions. We attack the working women in town hall. We attack the police department. We attack the people living in Huntington Station. We attack the people living in East Northport and Northport. We attack the people living in Dix Hills. We attack suv drivers. We attack Half Hollow Hills. We attack, attack, attack and alienate everyone.

As we move into the elections you will hear how wonderful things are.
They hope you have a short memory.

All American (how wonderful you bestow this status upon yourself, you must be special) and "concerned (no way a) dem" can only see all things in a negative light. If this town is so bad, then why would you ever want to live here?
The fact of the matter is that this is not "Crookhaven" and the dems are not attacking. They are in the majority in local government and doing a good job. They are being attacked by your ongoing negative campaign. Tell the lie, tell it again... and tell it again after that.
In Crookhaven, a legislator resigned for abusing his office and misusing campaign funds. The same legislator who worked for Ed Romaine in the County Clerk's office when $100,000 in quarters were unaccounted for... Record keeping so poor that the DA claimed he could not prosecute.
Huntington under the dems is better on any given day then what goes on in Crookhaven. Get real and open your eyes.

This is a travesty. It's our tax dollars housing people who should have sponsors. Illegal dwellings turning parts of the station and Huntington into ghettos.
Dems say they'll revitalize by placing in apartment buildings because it is investment driven and can house section 8 housing.
The dems are destroying suburbia faster then the developers can build.
All American

True dem, you say Huntington is better on any given day. The boys are all in bed together. There is no way to tell the level of corruption that has plagued thes two towns, Hell, Franks Peetrone's main man was John Powell. Now Fat Franks chief of staff is brookhavens # 2 guy. Peetrone jumps ship to the Dems and his little jerk of a kid wins up with a big job with Soizzi.
It's like a cancer
You get real and when you open your eyes, use them to watch the back room weasel deals. Reps or Dems have little courage to do with honest, open or democratic principals.
You're dealing with swine.

Town Board in Huntington is so corrupt that Half Hollow Hills wants to go the incorporated village route. Even with their own Susan Berland on board they still can't trust the Democrat led board on zoning issues.
Newsflash
09-25-2003, 04:09 PM
The Huntington Republican leadership has decided that all LI Politics posters are to cite Half Hollow Hills incorporation in their postings. The Huntington Station thing hadn't been going as well as they like, so they've decided to move their attack to the Dix Hills area.
Berland, Berland, Berland. That's the focus now, so they think they can sneak McGrath into office. Tracey Edwards, they have already written you off as a candidate. These people are so shallow and their strategy so lame.
Keep telling the big lie. Tell it over again and then one more time. It still won't work. Budd & Berland in '03.

"The Huntington Republican leadership has decided that all LI Politics posters are to cite Half Hollow Hills incorporation in their postings. The Huntington Station thing hadn't been going as well as they like, so they've decided to move their attack to the Dix Hills area."
It makes sense. There isn't much power in Huntington Station. Seems to me that everyone who can, just gives up & moves out.

Hey Bonnie, wouldn't your time be better spent trying to run a real campaign then "bouncing around the boards" spreading lies about Berland.
She's definitely going to have better name rec after you clowns keep up this smear thing. Tell the big lie... repeat it, say it again. Maybe you think it will work, but people in Huntington can see through your garbage.
I'd rather live in Huntington anyday, compared to the idyllic republican stronghold "Crookhaven". We have good government and all you have are lies and the smear.

Good Government?
Not if you look into the legal guagmire of Peetrone.
It is bad government at best and the taxpayer will foot the bill.
The present administration is trying to quietly pay off all those people they betrayed.

Smear and Lie?
Look, the mess at Town Hall is for real, look at all the outside counsel on the payroll.
The facts will be presented in a court of law and you dribble will not be introduced.
The strategy - truth.
Sudden silence

Utter silence from Tinari and Bonnie Black. Did you say they announced that they are not going to take any Town job or patronage? Guess not.

"All American" (what does that make the rest of us good patriotic Americans who pay our taxes and have served our country?) you've done it again.
Throwing allegations of going into court and "dribble" and a jury is very interesting. What in Gods' name are you babbling about. If you have specific knowledge of wrongdoing then spit it out. Don't just think that you can rant about courts and the like and think that reasonable people won't see through your partisan garbage.
Look at "Crookhaven" where there are real indictments and let me know if you like the way government works there.
All American

No babble
The Peetrone administration is hiding under the radar.
The current litigation and millions of dollars spent is insulated from the public.
Ask Fat Frank what is pending? I'm not ranting but I am looking for solutions. Unfortunately the court system is the only responsible way to hold them accountable and resolve their illegal actions.
The allegations are well documented and filed, but it takes years to reach a jury.
The similarities between Brookhaven and Huntington are mind blowing. Fat Frank's chief of staff (Hoffman) is now second in command in Brookhaven.
Do you see any connection?

If newflash is really interested in knowing the damage he can try looking at the annual report to the NYS Comptroller's office where the Town is required to list all of their liabilities (pending lawsuits).

All American - Does it have to be said over and over again?
What has been filed and where is the "documentation". It's easy just to put lies like this out there, now back them up. This is just garbage and you should check your recycling calendar to see when you should put it out on the curb for pickup.
What has been filed? What has been documented?

Does that include the liability for Perks & SSR tryst? You know, the one where an employee allegedy had an affair with a married Republican councilwoman and the taxpayers in Huntington are stuck with the bill.
How is Petrone responsible for that one? Blame, lie, & blame again.

Their are usually two sides of a story.
With all of the law suits, Peetrone has got some explaining to do.
He has kept the Department of Human Rights very busy.

Peetrone style to let things fester and ignore his responsibilities has been one of his stronger assets of his administration.
Didn't six women just drag his ass in court?

Hey, what those two people did in the Town Attorney's office should be their own business.
And those women were probably told just to pony up if they wanted to get any promotions. Yhey had their chance.
And those blacks that were descriminated against, who did you believe, them or Fat Frank and his settlement money?
How can you hold Peetrone responsible for the madness he ignored?
The list goes on, but I don't want to confuse you with the facts.
I'm just an All American from an "All American City".

Discrimination suit - Years ago, actually it was based in the Highway Dept. Research your facts and you will see that there a consent agreement with NYS Attorney General Office. Highway hiring is under the Supt of Highways.
Female Employees in Parks & Rec. - They may have a legimate claim or not. Let the court decide. They have not been satisfied with either union or EEO resolutions to their case. That is their right and if they feel they need to pursue their case in federal court, that is their right as well. There is more to this case then you may think, given who received appointments in this dept over the women, but let the court decide on the matter. This suit is the best argument for the town to use competitive civil service criteria in hiring & promotions.
Perks & SSR - Come Culper, enough already. The town shouldn't have to pay because your little "fat franky" did your thinking for you. Consensual sex, unlimited OT, a new truck --- the town has already paid enough.

But list goes on:
You forgot about the Sexual Harassment pay off with the dog wardens. How much hush money were they given and what did those out side lawyers kick back?
The list of mistakes goes on and on (of which I'm sure you have your NYSPIN). You got any answers or just spin?
But that's another story for the jury and not for you.
Sounds like you and Peetrone have been busy in court.

The first positive thing that Fat Frank did was to stop paying the attorney. After five years he finally found the courage.
Enough is enough.

Dear newflash (aka nyspindr),
Sounds like you're going to be a very valuable witness for Fat Frank.
If you have had all the answers, why didn't you come forward earlier and have all those cases dismissed?
Good luck
