In today's Newsay, Raymond Keatings fluff piece on movie showings in Eisenhower Park, one of Suozzi's right hand men is quoted as saying:

"In fact, the Eisenhower Park festival is a moneymaker for Nassau taxpayers. So says Ian Siegel, special assistant to County Executive Tom Suozzi. "They pay usage fees for the park, so there's no real extra expense for the county," he said"

Anybody who has visited Eisenhower Park at least once in their lifetime knows that there is no usage fee to enter the park. The fact that this administration does not know this shows you what we are dealing with here. They think that the County is making money off this thing. I'm going to go out on limb here and say this guy is another out of towner working for Suozzi.

They commit 18 million dollars for park's refurbising and don't even know that Eisenhower Park, the crown jewel of the park system does not charge fees to enter the park.

Maybe they think there's tollboths on the Southern State Parkway also.

Have you ever read Raymond Keating's column in Newsday? He is a staunchly conservative Republican who routinely rips Democrats (and occasionally Republicans) at every turn. He's never had a good thing to say about Suozzi or the way Nassau County runs its government, so he could hardly be called a shill for Suozzi.

No, Ian is from Glen Cove, and thats his first problem. He was never in Eisenhower park before he worked for sleazy. Ian isn't very bright, just very tall and in need of dental work, he's only a little smarter than he looks.

There companys out there that do that all.
Stop wasting money on Park employees that start work at 7:00 am and don't go to work til 8:00am. And then stop at 2:30 pm ,when there stop time is 3:30pm

What he meant was, the MOVIE COMPANY paid user fees, not the blanketed moviegoers.
