Word has it Rocco has more than enough signatures. Unless someone screwed up big time putting together his petition books, his place on the ballot should be secure. He'll also beat Trish and actually have a chance against O'Connell.

Not sure what the deal is with Cindy. But that's less important, as Dillon will win anyways.

Besides those two, Cooper's primary for District Court, and the primary in the Long Beach County Leg district, are there any other potential primaries?

Wasn't there going to be a primary in North Hempstead?

Yes, you're correct about North Hempstead. For one of the Town Board seats. I forgot about that one. Don't know what the deal is there either.

It is a primary in the 5th Council District. Rafe Lieber Jon Kaiman's Legislative director is running against NYS Dem State Committeewoman Lee Seaman, and I believe that one of the village mayors in Great Neck has also announced his candidacy.

easy win for Lee as she has been a presence in the Great Neck community for over 40 years

But who's supporting who? Which one's aligned with Rocco and which one's aligned with the "party"? Which was "endorsed" by the committee at the convention?

This is old news. Lee Seeman was the party choice. She was not challeneged at convention. There is a former Great Neck mayor who might be running a primary. I guess we will know this week if that's the case. I doubt Rafe Lieber ever planned to run against Lee Seeman in a primary.
