Is this how a senator is suppose to act by declaring in public that because millions and millions of people disagree with putting the country into massive debt and the higher taxes and inflation we must endure, we are
therefore fleas?
The Democratic party has become extreme senator Schumer !

Senator Chuckie Cheese is a IDIOT. The only reason he keeps getting re-elected is he comes from a state that is just about as far left as California. If we could cut NYC out from the rest of the State , maybe the rest of us would have a chance to put in a Senator who isn't always looking for the next camara.
but he's right...

The Tea Party is a crock. They have no united agenda. They are all about wanting change but don't know what they want to change or how they would make that change.
There was a poster here going by the Name "The Facts Tell it All" who says he is a Tea Party Supporter but he is also a CSEA member that supports Unions. The Tea Party is against Unions so I guess he is REALLY against himself.

I too am a Tea Party member and a union member. If you actually learned about the ideology of tea party members, you would learn that these ideals are not in opposition with one another.
First of all, there is not an actual party. There are some who come to meetings or events that are democrats and those that are republican. Fiscal responsibility is the only agenda. Why do you think this would ever go out of style? I think the problem with what you are viewing in the media stems from the fact that those in power are upset that the tea party people are having such a great effect on the budget process. Republicans wanted tea party success only to throw out democrats. They are angry that those desiring fiscal responsibility are standing in their way preventing them from patronage and spending on their corporate friends and supporters. They wanted to take advantage of the fact that tea party members were most likely be voting conservative - now that the republicans had their victory, they just want them to go away. So they take to the media along with the democrats to go after tea party ideals.
Don't you understand that government doesn't want to give up power and money? Welfare given to no-to-low income; or welfare given to high income will all come out of the pockets of the middle class. We can't support either any more.
As for the unions, some cuts need to be made in certain unions - not all. Some of the benefits need to be scaled back. Pensions and pension funds may need revision, it needs to be reviewed seriously.
But unions in government help to curtail patronage. Without the union, patronage would go unchecked at all levels. Residents really don't understand what is happening with our tax dollars. When you have union workers with protected jobs, they can speak out and tell it like it is. When you have a patronage position, and are making 2 or 3 times what you would in the private sector, and can come and go as you please, you are very likely to look the other way. Taxpayers don't need more unchecked patronage.
Union workers are a very necessary part of government fiscal responsibility, and many tea party members know it and support unions in government. Many of us are union. Its a shame that Union leaders don't understand and embrace that fact. They are sending us mailings attacking the tea party members, when the fact is we could be working hand in hand to protect the working class and the taxpayers. Together, we could ensure fiscal responsibility from the local to federal levels.

You are so damned stupid it is not funny. Your own Tea Party writes from the above link above, "We therefore DEMAND that NIFA use their abrogated powers to address ALL the Nassau County budgetary issues by declaring a fiscal emergency and putting everything; budgets, union contracts, pay raises, furloughs, layoffs, contributory health care, tax assessment reimbursements, patronage jobs, etc.. on the table."
Do you not pay attention to what is going on in Ohio and Wisconsin?
They want to destroy YOUR JOB and BENEFITS but that is OK with you? You TRULY are an IDIOT!
There is no changing the mind of a moron.
