good.... yeah with the help of 3 judges. come on face it you wouldn't stand a chance if it weren't for the judges you know and so does the rest of the county. i don't question you muscial ability . all i'm saying is lets change up the judges and see what happens. and for the ex-chief since your an ex-chief why don't you sign up and stop crying yourself. There is no denying that Brentwood is one of, if not, the premier band on Long Island. But lets be honest, every parade is a win?? Not even the Yankees win every game, even the 1927 Yankees lost some games. No one, and i mean no one, is that good to win week in and week out. I think it basically all boils down to just being tired of the same old thing. It's not even fun anymore. And I am a person who never misses a parade for my band. We constantly have 19 or 20 members (active dept. members) who march with us every week. It's just hard to swallow that we keep losing to a band that has 12, 13, 14 guys. As i keep telling people, I dont care if our band wins 8th place, as long as it is done fairly. Well, anyway, enough of me rambling, good luck to everyone in Baldwin/Hempstead.

well Billy H, sorry to dissapoint, and believe me, i am not conjruing up a fight here, by any means, but you say i should worry more about the volunteering aspect?? I will have you know, that i am one of the most active guys in my department. Also, just a side note "You only volunteer to come down and fill out an application, everything else after that, is a commitment."

Face the facts your crying about a stupid parade!!!!! Im in Brentwood and for anyone who says that they have 20 "ACTIVE MEMBERS" in there band is full of s--t!!!! I know WI, BS and Brentwood not everyone in the band is an active firefighter..... Most of them might be but dont give me that bulls--t that everyone is... Ill call you a lyer (LIAR) to your face.. And if you really think that it matters having 3 judges from the same department in the same set then read your ruke (RULE????)book. If 1 jude (JUDGE???) marks you for something as well as the others its only one gig. Oh yeah we tried this once before remember when you two depts. cried about brentwoods officials not being fair and thay (THEY)didnt judge you guys???? I think BRENTWOOD ONE (WON) THAT PARADE.... Face the facts we practice and work harder than you do!!!!! If you guys would stop the bitching and have fun instead of trying to fight everyone you might enjoy life a little more. Stop the drinking before the parade!!!!! Oh im sure that has nothing to do with it!!!! Id love to continue but I have better things to do tonight..

HOW AS AN ACTIVE FIREFIGHTER CAN YOU HAVE A PONY TAIL AND STILL ENTER A BURNING BUILDING. I agree with OH SHIT , You should punish the ones that did wrong not the hole (whole) dept. What about the drill team now.... If the hold(whole) dept get (gets)banned for a year then soft ball can't play and the drill team can't race, look at the BIG PITCHER....(picture)

So if West Babylon is the current Third Place winner in the Continental Musical Unit category, does this mean that they have to hand over a trophy to the department band whose cheating appointed parade officials were sponsored by.....the Brentwood FD.....I should hope not.......Ponder that question.... It seems to me the Brentwood FD has a whole should suffer the punishment and embarsement caused by the lack of integrity on the part of their sponsored parade officials. West Babylon should tell them to shove the request up their ass...

How do you know the person has a GED, abviously you never took spanish in school because beachos is a spanish word, and we all know West Islip bitches and moans when they don't win thats why you guys stopped playing softball your team sucked just like your band only with the band you can accuse judges of cheating to compensate for you sucking, I suggest you and your department concentrate on training cause I have seen the last few fires you had and it wasnt pretty, there's 2 things Brentwood does better than WI fighting fires and the band, i hear your commisioners are putting in for a new bond for a new piece of apparatus it's being built by Cat

Who gives a shit about all this stuff. At the mtg it was discussed and nobody was found guilty. Every year it should be voted on for new officials and a time limit should also occur on how long you could hold you position. All officials should have to sign there gig sheets that way everyone knows how is out to screw the next guy. At drill team tournaments you know who is making the call because its done right in front of you. As far as all the other alligations on this board why dont we bring them up at the officials meeting not some hack board on the internet. And if anyone else had the balls you would sign your name as I did..

Cause last time I check it says FIRE DEPARTMENT on all our stations (brentwood, west islip, bay shore, everywhere), not band, softball, etc. Maybe it's time to look at what your purpose is in the department. If its to be a member of station 3 and go to parades maybe you should rethink your membership
