Kelly would be mistaken to make that choice. Kelly is the clear front runner over Tagney, Tepper and Remo. Kelly will convince the many LB Dem committeemen that he is the only real vote getter. Just take a look at how many votes garnered in 1998. There will be no way to stop Kelly in the primary. Criticizing Kelly will only risk Lenny receiving more criticism.

It's probably true that Kelly is a harder worker that Lardass, oh, I mean Sweatty pig, oh no I mean El Gordo. But he lacks the support of the committee members he left high and dry. Instead of swallowing his pride and appoligizing, he saved his own ass and punked out. Well, if he wins a Primary, good for him. If he loses the primary or fails to collect enough signatures to qualify, well it would deprive the Council of an individual that has some reasoning ability. Can the committee members push Tepper the Whale to work or will Kelly stage the ultimate comeback?
