Amazing how the CHAIRMAN of the Democratic party runs away during the most crucial election year for the dems. Who are we left to deal with - the two idiot staff members at HQ? Run away JJ. In September you will be released from your duties. Enjoy your last day as Chairman.

And boy are they lining up to replace the enforcer. Sleshinger,Galante,Ianarelli,Zapson, even Yevoli has had enough. Guess the tough guy routine didn't work. They all laugh at JJ behind his back, and SS did it right in his face.
If the CSEA members can have the guts to band together to get rid of lap dog Jane, then the gentlemen above surely have what it takes to dump the dumb one.
This year September starts the "fall season".

ISnt he under a pricey contract?

Please Jay stay away so we can be Democrats again some day. While at camp when you watch your camp play we will all thank god you didn't bring alone for the day.

Steve schlessinger is calling up committee people telling them that he "forced" Dillon out of the party years ago and that he is the source of Kathleen Rice's supposed $100,000 war chest. Stevie is making his move on Jay. First Steve and MCDonald and Terry foist the Hatch Act violating, fourth ammendment hating, civil rights suit defendant on Jay, then when the party faithful are furious and in an uproar over having her shoved down their throats and Jay is busy issuing all kinds of threats and ultimatums which rachet up the already existing resentment--voila! Stevie moves in for the kill.

Nicely played boys. The question is, do Dems want to go from the frying pan into the fire?

Maybe some of the other choices mentioned above should get off the fence and show us their leadership.

Who else will go?

If Suozzi is re-elected - will he make other staff changes? Rumour has it - he's been wanting to re-organize the County Attorney's office - he's not happy with the management there. But if Lorna's buddy Steve takes over for Jay - how realistic will that be? Would Steve push Lorna out of the way for himself - or Zapson? That's who I hear Suozzi has approached already about taking over.

Bogsted will go down = both as conservative party leader and as consumer affairs commissioner. Suozzi will bring in upstate people next. Watch.

Isn't the County Attorney's Office filled with big time political donors? I do not buy this rumor, but dismissal from their jobs would serve them right for firing loyal Democratic Committeemen like Dave Feinberg. I wonder if lawyers who dropped the ball on entire court calendars in the affirmative litigation bureau, divulged confidential information about juvenile offenders to medical clinics who want to recruit test subjects for clinical drug trials using banned substances, or who permitted tax assessors to accept bribes which cost NYC over one billion dollars will be welcomed to the private sector with open arms! At least Goodman is independently wealthy and will not have to survive utilizing her limited intelligence.

I guess these jackasses will come to learn how good a friend they have in Tom Suozzi. Also, other than prepping a run at State Supreme Court, I cannot see why a successful private sector lawyer would want to become County Attorney.

I resent that remark. My pocketbook works miracles. Even on 34th Street.

Heard the Workers Compensation Bureau of the Nassau County Law Department, which is run by Mr. Reinharz, was pasted by Controller Hevesi for severe problems in claims processing, and that Mr. Reinharz couldn't handle running the bureau, so he proposed shipping the claims off to a third party administrator. Is that true? I heard Suffolk County handles their claims in house. Why can't Nassau?

Are you kidding? They can't even handle the day to day operations of minor cases without resorting to outside counsel and free legal advise by democratic attorney friends - what makes you think they can handle wc claims? These people weren't hired for their talents.
