Spoke at length with Jerry today. I told him to write on the baord, he asked me if I would relay a message from him to the members.

First of all thank you for your unbelievable support in this election.
With your loyal help and hard work record were broke in this election. Almost 50% of the entire membership voted by mail-in ballot, which was by far the highest voter turnout. Jerry won with 2970 votes compared to 1267 votes for his opponent, which equatres to a 71% margin of victory, again a record setter.

Jerry says...."you did your job, now it is time for him to do his" He promises to "hit the ground running" and will initiate many innovative and ground breaking changes to make our union stronger, more efficient and more 'member oriented." The time has come for us to do what we promised and we will start immediately".

Thanks again for believing in Jerry and for supporting his successful bid to take over our local. He knows what he has to do and he told me to tell you he plans on doing his job with the best results for CSEA.

Thank you all once again for making this all possible. Now you will begin to see the positive results of your actions.
