Pirro has it sewn up if she wants it. She is the only one who can get Dem crossover support

Lazio for Governor; Pirro for AG.

I like Lazio for Governor. Pirro for US Senate. Hillary can't bust on Pirro's old man because hers is worse. An Italian female could be dangerous to Hillary.

Lazio for governor and Pirro for AG makes more sense. Pirro has a snowballs chance in Hell of beating Hillary and even she knows it. She is only considerig a run against Hillary because the State GOP will give her a lot of campaign money and it will be a chance to raiser her visiblity for a national synidcated TV show of her own. I don't fault her for seriously considering such a offer but I think she has a real shot at AG. I think she can beat Lazio in a primary if he decides to challenge for AG nod. The Dems don't have a real strong candidate for AG (Andy "Political Opportunist" Cuomo? Yeah, right!) and the GOP doesn't have a strog candidate for Gov. I don't think her OC links will hurt her for state position like it would for a federal office. I don't know why it works that way, it just does. A really smart lady like Pirro has to know that nobody gives a hoot about the fact that Hillary is running for President in 2008. If anybody in America doesn't know that Hillary wants to be president then they should have their voting priveleges revoked. The only people who seem to care or want to make an issue of it is the people who would never vote for Hillary under any circumstances. The fact that Hillary is a viable candidate for president only means that people will be more likely to vote for her in next year's reelection race for Senate. To say that Hillary is hated with a passion by a certain segment of the electorate is understating it. But Hillary is right when she says she is no more polarizing than George Dubya Bush. Hillary haters are no more intense in their vitriol than Bush haters if you haven't noticed. Actually, Hillary has situated herself brilliantly for her presidential run. Even her worst enemies have had to admit that. Maybe, Lazio knows that he can't beat Spitzer (who can?) but I don't think he can beat Pirro for the GOP AG spot either. That would be a tough one to call, however. So, maybe it is smarter of Pirro to get her television show by being the female to bash Hillary so Hillary can't accuse her of being anti-feminist. Pirro sure won't be lacking for campaign contrubutors, that's for sure. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out.
