I know Jim and he calls himself a Republican but acts as a democrat. I wish the Republicans would fly their banner in local races this way they could remove this fake Republican. He is anti-business and surrounds himself with yes people and a registered democrat. It is time for him to go.

Jim Altadonna asked his friend to change party registration so he could have her appointed as a Massapequa Park trustee. It's not about her affiliation it is all about her allegiance to the mayor. If Tina Schiaffino is willing to do this she is willing to vote with him on every issue. Jim, your naivete is clear, it is about character, judgment and leadership that the voters are looking for. You are confusing government with politics and your approach is going to bring about your demise. Why drag an innocent person into your web of lies and ask her to change party line or misrepresent her status to the press? The voters are willing to select candidates based on qualifications and not their party affiliation. Continued gaffes will make the case for your removal from office. This is not about Tina but an egotistical man who wants more than the office of Mayor.
