What are the real reasons she was appointed at the worst possible time. Was big Joe looking to stop a movement against him by Sen. Pothole? . Was Sen. Skelos involved as well. Did Skelos get any plump appointments as well? What did the other leaders have to say about this? Was everybody on board, or was this also a power play in the face of other potential leaders challenging Big Joe.

The real story has yet to be revealed.

I think your reading into it a little too much. I have a strong feeling that they are conspiring together to run her for some sort of office. She is smart, personable, and good looking. Not too many republicans in county government with sex appeal these days.

Sorry my friend, you are misreading it. No doubt she is attractive, but why NOW. Don't you think it would have been smarter to have it done after election day. And what did Dean get, the answer is to look at the nominating convention.

Al is for Al and Dean is for Dean. Read the tea leaves and you will see the answer. There is much more going on here than meets the eye.

DEAN'S WIFE IS ON THE PAYROLL FOR OVER A HUNDRED, OR DID SHE SWITCH STAFFS IN ALBANY AND IS SHE MAKING EVEN MORE?

SO IT WOULD NOT BE FAIR IF AL'S WIFE WASN'T ON THE TAXPAYERS PAYROLL FOR SOME THING............!!!!!

She is brilliant. This is the start of a political career. Probebly not the best person to accuse of being a Hack.

Of course her political career in Nassau County is just started. Al's got to start making good on his engagement promises sooner or later. You don't actually believe she fell in love with the old, bald punchy guy do you?
