Understandably city is paid. Suffolk has only paod EMS? What does Nassau have? Are EMS jobs strickly Civil Service?

Nassau has a countywide ambulance bureau through Nassau County PD.
I also think that there are a few paid departments in Nassau & none that I know of in Suffolk, (Other than airport & BNL).
