A new reality show has developed in Nassau County. It is an auto-dialed telephone message going out to Nassau Democratic committee people asking for their support at the County Convention for Trish Farrell and Kathleen Rice. The smooth voice of Chairman (for now) Jay Jacobs implores NCDC members to believe that Farrell and Rice are the most qualified candidates because they were supported by the Screening Committees. Of course, Jacobs fails to mention the composition of the committees and how much pressure was exerted on them to get a decision that Jacobs wanted. Jacobs also mentions that Tom Suozzi supports these candidates too. Does anyone really think that this matters anymore?

Well when there is no conviction other that the one you could go to jail for when conspiring to lose an election on purpose, well that can rattle those little nerves quite a bit I guess.

Now how does little Mike try to erase all those messages on those answering machines before everyone gets home?
