Very simply put, the problem is this: how can you operate a modern, sophisticated and competitive political party without allocating resources to it? If everyone on staff is in the process of leaving, who will do this work? Rather than hiring qualified professionals, my fear is that the current leadership will simply utilize temps, interns, unguided volunteers and people who walk in from the street. Nothing substantive will be done and the efforts of our candidates will be undermined. Is it because our fearless leader would rather be in Albany than in Nassau County?

I know that Ryan's departure is mostly ruled by the fact that he is starting school in August and needs time to find an Aprtment etc. By Why is Di MAggio (who is going to Bob McDonald's firm-they would hold the job for him until after election day) leaving at the BEGINNING of the busy season? Why is Zaheer leaving at the BEGINNIng of the busy season?
How come there doesn't seem to be any transition plan?
I wonder, did Jay NOT make as much on the Spring fundraiser as he claimed? Are Nassau Dems strapped for cash? Are the Pro_CHoice donors keeping their checkbooks firmly in their pockets? They are a big source of donations for this party!

The problem is that tommy tantrum aligned himself with a party leader that is so out of touch with reality he doesn't know up from down. I can only assume he is operating on a machievellian theme which he does'nt realize was a farce originally. Years ago I had his number and he has done everything I thought he would, which is make one mistake after another. I just hope they both are finally caught doing some of the illega so they can spend some time where they belong in jail.

The anwser to the first part of your question is who amoung the Democratic bosses are not felons. Anyone involved in or allowing the current "culture of intimadation" is a felon. Just because no one has the courage to prosecute it doesn't make them any less the criminals.
