Levy vs. Egan

Jay Egan must have really struck some nerves in the County Executive's Office to engender such a nasty letter as that wrtten by Levy's XO Jeff Szabo to the Joint Council. Too bad Szabo had such a poor understanding of the facts when he made his allegations; his letter makes one doubt the credibility of anything that comes from Levy's office. It seems to this reader that the County Executive owes Egan an apology and that Szabo ought to have his wings clipped for writing such nonsense without checking the facts.

egan is an ex chief from selden fd....shouldn't that say enough...he's not a man of his word so why should levy be. with egan repping us we are doomed. I know. If Levy gives him a "fire safety officer car" he will give in to the county just like he did the fire district. Ha Ha Ha.

Obviously you really don't know Jay to make a statement like that, from any dealings I have had with him either on a Town or County level, he always pretty much tells it like it is, something I don't think the Levy camp is used too!

Also, from what I understand after his accident settlement he don't need Levy or Selden for a car - no matter what it says on it.

Did the members of the Suffolk County Chiefs ever ask themselfs why when they have a meetng there are 5 active Chiefs and maybe 5 to 7 Assist. chiefs. It is people like Jay Egan. Jay is still talking for Dave F's . Dave is out, maybe we will not have to hear about "Wild Fires and 800" it happen 10 years ago. Ask some of the people working at FRES now, they will tell you all of the plans that Mr. Dave told everyone is so great is 10 to 15 years old. Dave did nothing but blow his our horn.

Jay does not speak for me and if you look at the members attending the meetings he does not speak for a lot of us. But maybe the guys with their pictures on the walls. And all of those "FC's" that Dave appointed. When are you going to see that you and the rest of them "jerks" are blowing up a tree.

And lets talk about Don C. did he think he was getting a paid FC-2 job. What a blow hard, will he ask Levy for his plant back? He got paid for the type of job he did and he was over paid. All he wanted to do was come to fires and who needed him.

The bottom line at the Suffolk Chiefs Mr Ed told a lie and now Jay is trying to turn it around. Jay OK'd the report.

Dave get a job and leave Jay to us. I will see you Jay at the next meeting.
